Homosexuality is more than an unnatural act. It is toxic to any culture that embraces and normalizes the practice. No nation that has ever existed has existed for very long once it accepts homosexuality as normal sexuality. It comes in a package that includes every kind of perversion and licentiousness. That is what even countries that prohibit religion recognize.

AFAIK, Japan still exists.
Which countries prohibit religion?
The Ancient Roman and Greek societies did not crumble due to homosexuality. Pewter cooking utensils were much more guilty in their demise. And Christianity, of course.
Why this fascination and fixation with homosexuality. IT IS JUST NOT THIS INTERESTING! Okay?
While this fundie drivel is complete bullshit..
@Argle Bargle, Japan hasn't exactly accepted it. It's more of, "Do it behind closed doors and we don't give a fuck".
" No nation that has ever existed has existed for very long once it accepts homosexuality as normal sexuality. "
The Roman republic/empire lasted quite a long time with homosexuality. But once Christianity was let in it lasted another 100 years.
ohh dear the UK must be buggered then, and Asia, and Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the Netherlands, France, Germany............
"No nation that has ever existed has existed for very long once it accepts homosexuality as normal sexuality."
Rome, one of the great civilizations of the world, existed just fine and accepted homosexuality. Once it made Christianity the state religion it fell shortly after. What do you say to that, Kathy?
WHY ARE YOU PEOPLE SO IGNORANT OF EVERYTHING?
Do you enjoy being ignorant? At your fingertips you have the tools to disprove everything you just said, but I suppose widening your worldview just a smidgen would hurt too much, wouldnt it? Lets not let reality get in the way of our petty misconceptions and phobias, no no, we can't have that. We much prefer to languish in ignorance, we enjoy being ignorant. Learning things, being tolerant, fuck that, it hurts too much.
Dickheads.
The Ancient Greeks, Ancient Romans, Canada, Sweeden, and a few others would like a word with you.
Many tribal cultures that have accepted homosexuality for centuries would like a word with you. Sure, they're not as "civilized" as we are, but until colonialism came along they were doing just fine.
Also, my country would like to have a word with you, as well as many other western countries.
Apart from the obvious example of Greece, Denmark is one of the most gay-friendly countries in the world, and has just hosted a huge event where gay people from all over the world came to get church wed.
Denmark is also the oldest kingdom in the world.
You were saying?
"No nation that has ever existed has existed for very long once it accepts homosexuality as normal sexuality."
Ancient Greece? As Russell Howard says, all the did was read and bum each other. And that was the start of democracy, philosophy and modern culture.
"Homosexuality is more than an unnatural act."
Sorry, try again.
"It is toxic to any culture that embraces and normalizes the practice."
Because Canada, Belgium, Spain, they're just order-free hellholes aren't they?
"No nation that has ever existed has existed for very long once it accepts homosexuality as normal sexuality."
Yeah. Such societies only last a couple thousand years before they decline due to unrelated causes.
"It comes in a package that includes every kind of perversion and licentiousness."
What about after the barrier of informed consent is installed?
"That is what even countries that prohibit religion recognize."
Yes and those countries also accepted totalitarianism and communism. What about Sweden and Norway?
He's right, you know. I mean, look at what happened to Canada, Denmark, Sweden... oh, wait.
Well, it's not as if the Greek or Roman cultures lasted very long... er...
Well, at least he spelled homosexuality correctly!
Oh really? So Canada should be expecting the beginning of the end anytime now, hmmm...? I live in Canada, and we're doing just fine. Legalizing same-sex marriage barely even caused a ripple. I didn't even know it had happened until I saw a same-sex couple get married on TLC. I think it was one of those "A Wedding Story"-type programs...

I may be wrong, but Argle Bargle could've been referring to the pederasty that was once common in Japan. Monks used to have sexual relationships with their apprentices. They were consensual, loving, and customary. And @Kathy30, at this time, the love between two men was actually considered the purest form of love. And guess what? Japan's still going strong. And that's with having had homosexuality AND ephebophilia AT THE SAME TIME. So much for those things causing moral decay...
Oh, and @Kathy30: Citations needed. ;)

So move to Malawi then, preferably some village with no Internet access.
Actually you go that arse backwards (if you will pardon the pun). The more anti-homosexuality a country is, the more backward it almost invariably is. I know that isn't a very politically correct term, but it's true nevertheless. It is enlightened societies generally which are more willing to accept homosexuality as being entirely normal, and I bet you'd move to one of them in a flash if Malawi or Iran were the alternatives.
Plus, other peoples' sexual preferences are none of your fucking business - excuse the pun, again.
Confused?
