My heart trembles for humanity when I think of their trivialization of the sin of lying. They cross their fingers behind their back and lie through their sinful teeth. They call them fibs and white lies, and yet with each lie they are storing up the fierce wrath of Almighty God.
It's been well-said that taking the easy path is what makes men and rivers crocked. But what a poisonous river it becomes! Lying lips destroy friendships and marriages, and those lips through which the lies pass are an abomination to the Lord.
May we never forget what is offensive to God, and may we always be mindful of the terrible end of those whose sinful lips are given to lies.

Wow. Could you be more of a hypocrite, Ray?
Why don’t you talk about your lying about your banana “argument”? How about your deceitful edition of The Origin Of Species? Or the deceptive editing of your videos asking questions to “evolutionists”? Or your made-up stories about your conversations with atheists?

With fundies there isn't a clear line between lying, stupid and insane. Read "The Authoritarians" regarding compartmentalized cognition. Different parts of their brains simultaneously have contradictory opinions and they have no awareness that this is a problem.

Look, Ray, if you really are incapable of recognizing the sheer, ungodly hypocrisy in this statement of yours, you're either legitimatly insane, stupid beyond measure, or both. Because you're one of the biggest "liars for jebus" I've ever had the displeasure of hearing about. At least Dunamis may actually be delusional.

Normally I would agree, in accordance with Hanlon’s Razor. But Ray has shown that he maliciously and knowingly tells lies. He has acknowledged that his banana “argument” is bunk, but has nevertheless gone back to using it. He repeatedly lies about the content of The Origins Of Species although he himself published an edition of it and must have actually read it, because he knew which chapters to omit to further his agenda.
So yes, all evidence points to Ray beings a conscious and deliberate liar.

Erm, isn't Bananaman a professional liar? He says whatever he thinks the gullible fundies want to hear and rakes in the money they throw at him and his boy-toy (man-toy now; look, he's one year younger than I am).

And yet God rewarded deceit several times in the mythology for lying on the behalf of his followers.
He punished deceit that resulted in people's unjust deaths or defamation, however.
By that logic... Ray Comfort is in for a hell of a time in the afterlife.

Oh Ray knows he's lying, he's one of those that's on camera admitting to a issue then continuing the lie later.
He spent about a year defending his banana argument and lying about the wild ones before he admitted all his points were destroyed by that fact. Pineapples destroyed all those points anyway but then he pretended he was joking all along. Not only a liar but no shame at all.
Right after he wrote this he probably had to tell three lies until he felt better.

So when your wife says "does this dress make me look fat", are you going to tell her "No, fat makes you look fat. If you don't want to look fat, lose 30 pounds!" and see how the truth helps your marriage (with apologies to Ray's wife, who's a bit overweight but not at all bad looking for her age).
