Have we ever been able to change the fundamental nature of bacteria? No matter what we do bugs stay bugs. They can change a little bit here and there but we have never gotten anywhere close to a complete transformation from bacteria to something else. We have never in any way been able to examine the central Darwinian evolutionary claim that natural selection and random variation can account for a great deal of complexity.

There is no demonstration available to prove that this mechanism; natural selection, random variation, is adequate to explain the current level of complexity that exists. From the point of view of serious science, without that kind of a demonstration you really have no idea if the mechanism is adequate for its intended purpose.

There is a striking lack of laboratory evidence to back up Darwinian evolution. We should have far more plasticity, far more flexibility under laboratory conditions than we actually do if Darwinian theory or anything like that were correct. What is seen in nature and in the laboratory is very highly bound variations. For example finch beaks in the Galapagos, we really do not see much beyond that. Why is that if Darwinian theory is correct?
