Nobody can decide to be a lesbian. Even if a woman divorces her husband and decides she wants nothing to do with men ever again, that doesn't make her a lesbian. It's a sexual orientation, not something people do out of spite.

Lesbians have the lowest STD incidence in the six possible sexual groups, say bisexual, homosexual and straight men, bisexual, straight women and them. Women, not surprisingly, score fewer STD occurence than men. Now, where does this guy gets this statistics?

When I hear relationship, I am know you can't mean marriage since most cannot, how many times have you, or anyone, been in a relationship that lasts past three years-the most people I know would be wanting to get married by then.
I know how they get the statistics to claim that straight relationships last longer than lesbian/gay ones: they compare numbers for all L/G relationships with straight marriages . So, if I have one date with a guy, and we decide it really wouldn't work and just stay friends? That's a short "relationship" to drag down the average. If my straight friend has a one-week fling with a guy before she dumps him and never talks to him again? Doesn't count, they weren't married . IIRC, in the countries where marriage laws have been equalized, average length of marriage has been pretty even across gender configurations.
