There has been a lot of scapegoating and false allegations concerning the case of Otto Warmbier. Clearly something has been hidden as there was no autopsy carried out and the body was buried within days of death. The DPRK Foreign Ministry issued an excellent statement on Friday refuted a lot of the nonsense being talked, the DPRK is very much the innocent victim in this affair.

Some of the media coverage has now turned to Young Pioneer Tours (YPT)the company who arranged Warmbier's trip to the DPRK . Usually we do not comment on individual tour companies. KFA itself arranges trips to the DPRK and we strongly recommend people go on these. As to YPT we heard how on one of their trips they cancelled a lot of the itinerary which was then blamed on the DPRK . YPT guides have been known to make anti-DPRK, anti-Juche, anti-communist remarks. Apparently one YPT trip had a lot of racist Americans on it, another account is that a YPT tourist was throwing sweets at DPRK children expecting them to scramble for them, this was viewed as extremely insulting by the DPRK guides present.

The mainstream media coverage of YPT has failed to ask the right questions and missed the point about YPT. The fact of the matter is that YPT and a number of companies, organisations and institutions such as Choson Exchange are basically Trojan Horse efforts which aim at introducing capitalist ideology and culture into the DPRK and breaking up the socialist system. Some of these outfits are clearly linked to various Western intelligence services.
The Warmbier case was very much part and parcel of such a Trojan horse operation to subvert and damage the socialist system in the DPRK. However it went badly wrong.
