“Evolution is not a religion?”
Feel free to offer an official definition of religion that matches evolutionary theory but doesn’t make a religion out of Monday Night Football, any miniseries, smoking, quitting smoking, long distance runners, and having a favorite breakfast cafe.
“If I recall correctly, and I do, evolutionists "believe" that the world started with a big bang.”
That’s not evolution.
That’s like saying evolutionists use either a 12- or a 24-hour clock. Totally unrelated.
“An explosion, what exploded?”
Not an explosion, that’s a strawman.
“Where did this explosive material come from?”
We don’t know.
“What caused it to explode?”
It didn’t explode. Learn some shit, any shit, rather than read creationist websites.
“Has there ever been another instance in known history in which an explosion created something?”
Yes. An error in the amount of explosive on a safe drove the letters on the cover plate into the door itself, and gave a rise to the development of shaped charges.
But it wasn’t that kind of explosion, so you’re just shit out of luck, here.
“Was this explosion observed and tested as all true science is?”
All true science is based on repeatable observations but NOT on testing.
So, yes, they will tell you the observations made that lead to the Big Bang conclusion and you can repeat them. Please don’t try to create a big-bang in your lab.
“Believe what you want and disbelieve what you want. What it boils down to is that I "believe" in the beginning God, and evolutionists "believe" in the beginning KA-BOOM!”
No, they do not.
THis isn’t defining a religion, this is mockery of a strawman of science.
“As to there being intelligent life on other planets it simply hasn't been observed!”
Nope. Not yet.
“But what about all those UFO sightings?”
What about them? They kinda dropped way off when camera-enabled phones became common, but picked back up when photo-adulterating technology grew. Weird coincidence, that.
“What about them - they are Unidentified Flying Objects!"
Yes. Unidentified.
“And those out of place fossils that scientists are finding everwere?”
Most of them pretty well explained, frankly.
“Those only prove that our ancestors of yesteryear were pretty smart!”
Sure.
“What about crop circles? Disgusting waste of HUMAN time and effort that quite often includes trespassing and vandalism. etc.”
I agree. So what’s the point? HOw does any of this make evolution a religion?
