The difference being that some democrats burn flags because the electoral college overrode the will of the people, while the vast majority of the republican party's leadership wants to do away with the constitution.
And unfortunately you can't declare the rulers of the country a hate group.
Nah. There are plenty of other reasons to burn flags. Besides, if it's my flag, what business is it of yours what I do with it?

I see a lot of Facebook memes about flag burning and how it shows you hate the country. Either a lot of people don't know, or are willfully ignorant about the SCOTUS ruling about burning the flag as a form of protest. Hate to tell you this Logan, but they said it's Constitutional to burn the flag in protest.
No, we burn flags when our government is betraying the principles of the constitution or engaging in unnecessary or unjust wars.

Considering the GOP just tried to severely limit the powers of The House Ethics Committee and our fucking president is Donald J. Goddamned Trump, I'd say a flag or two needs to be burned. Funny also how flag burning is protected under the first amendment, but this guy probably thinks there should still be laws against it, not even thinking for a moment that that's pretty unconstitutional.
I've never burned a flag, but there are several republicans I'd like to burn. Literally. I'd make smores over the smoldering remains of what used to be Paul Ryan's rib cage.
