I wonder if he realizes that he he just compared the Mother Earth to the (second) most revered figure in his faith and his god to the Lord of Murder. Ok, so maybe that's not exactly who B(h)aal is, but I like BG II.Ba'al is actually a title meaning master or lord. It referred to any number of divine entities.

So... green people are like a really nice watermelon? What? Does s/he even realize that in the originals, Baal is a name used to refer to his/her God, not just "evil" idols? Or maybe that desire to care for something does not automatically constitute worship? If it did, every decent parent would be breaking God's exclusivity clause, and quiverfull procreation would be church-endorsed polytheistic idolatry -- automatically! The illogic, it burns....
