@Ebon
"Do we have to give the trolls all this attention?"
@Phillip-George(c)2013
"Ebon, that's really ironical. This website is nothing but giving attention to people you want to "appear" to despise.
"Look at us, look at us, we don't care where you look because we are above all that"
You don't get it.
Look how much we swear to prove what liberal sophisticates we are. We've proved it to ourselves, yes we really have, cross our hearts, swearing shows how grown up we are."
Speaking as someone in Britain:
Liberal Democrats in Japan are Conservatives.
Liberal Democrats in Russia are hardline nationalists.
UK: Conservatives: Right.
Labour: Left.
Liberal Democrats: Neither right or left, but 'middle-of-the-road'.
I vote Labour. Left-wing.
'Liberal'. You fundies keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
And as for we 'not getting it'...:
Bryan Fischite being argumentally cornered, thus already exposing himself - and anyone who refuses to answer essentially the same ultra-easy question eh, P-G? - as the blatant Closet Case he really is.
And even before then, this:
http://www.fstdt.net/QuoteComment.aspx?QID=94017
"It is right to discriminate against people who engage in aberrant sexual behavior, we should discriminate against people like that.”
I refer you to my comment here:
http://www.fstdt.net/QuoteComment.aspx?QID=94017&Page=1#1532901
Again, Bryan Fischite's own words, verbatim:
"It is right to discriminate against people who engage in aberrant sexual behavior, we should discriminate against people like that."
Ted Faggard, the outed Closet Case, who - like Bryan is here right now - was previously so vociferous against homosexuality:
'We don't have to debate about what we should think about homosexual activity. It’s written in the Bible.'
-Ted Faggard
Like I say, the rest is history.
And like I say, his refusal to answer an ultra-easy question 'Yes' or 'No' - which any other straight man (like me) would answer 'No' - answers the question for him: and it's a 'Yes'.
'It is right to discriminate against people who engage in aberrant sexual behavior, we should discriminate against people like that.'
Bryan Fischite is a right-wing Fundamentalist Christian. As is Ted Faggard. As are you, P-G the homophobe, and everyone like you who are quoted here in FSTDT.
'People like that'.
We're simply obeying what Bryan says. A little argumental reversal I call 'Sauce for the Goose': if you (fundies) can't take it, then what makes you so much as think you have the right to dish it out to others in the first place? And isn't it the case that hypocrites make baby Jebus cry?
I hereby issue a challenge to you, P-G: Look through the entire quote archives of FSTDT, and find for me just one quote by a Quaker, Amish/Mennonite, Unitarian Universalist, Buddhist, Sufi Muslim, or Wiccan. If you can't, then ask yourself this question: Why aren't there any?
But before you do, keep this in mind: there are Christians among the commenters here in FSTDT, so why aren't they offended by what we Atheists say to the fundies in our comments?
After all, your own 'Word of God' warns it's believers about those who dare to think they have the right to spread their poisonous & unjustifiable bigotries, instead of keeping their so-called 'opinions' to themselves - or simply not having said 'opinions' in the first place.
Judge not, lest ye be judged. Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone.
We Atheists, however, aren't bigots, hypocrites, criminals, murderers and infintely worse, you name it. We're not 'Sinners':

Therefore, we can judge. And we have more than every right in the world to do so. Ergo, FSTDT.
Said Quakers, Amish/Mennonites & Unitarian Universalists aren't the judgemental types. Now P-G, you run along and find those quotes by them for me. There's a good boy. Obtaining just one. As in Get It. [/mega-sarcasm]
