So if habilis and rudolfensis were apes in every way, and ergaster (which followed them) was clearly human, where is the evidence that there was ever an ape-human between them? Absolutely none!

The evidence leads us to agree with creationists such as Marvin Lubenow and John Woodmorappe that “Homo ergaster, Homo erectus, Homo heidelbergensis, and Homo neanderthalensis can best be understood as racial variants of modern man — all descended from Adam and Eve, and most likely arising after the separation of people groups after Babel.”

Babylonian Ark fails test
The ancient Babylonians had a flood story too, and it may have been a corrupted version of the biblical account. The ark in the Babylonian story was shaped like a cube, which would had made it unseaworthy.

This shows the difference between truth and badly recorded legends. The Bible's Ark was able to carry all the animals God sent to Noah, it was wonderfully seaworthy, it landed on a mountain that is still identifiable today, and the whole story is credible scientifically.

Because of this, there are many thousands of scientists who believe the Bible's account of the Ark and the worldwide Flood, but none (as far as we know) who seriously defends the Babylonian story as scientifically trustworthy.

The most troublesome UFO sightings — those that may result in people claiming they have been abducted or taken aboard UFOs for mind experiments — often leave skeptics, atheists, rationalists and others struggling for believable answers. Yet Christians suspect they are almost certainly the work of Satan or his demons.

The Bible says Satan comes disguised as “an angel of light” (2 Corinthians 11:14), and he comes with all sorts of counterfeit miracles (2 Thessalonians 2:9). These types of UFO encounters often occur in areas with a lot of interest in the occult, or where there are churches of Satan, or they happen to people who have an interest in occult things.

There is a big difference between knowing whether God exists and whether Santa Claus exists.

The biblical prophets and writers made statements like, “The word of the Lord came to me,” “When the Lord began to speak through Hosea, the Lord said to him —,” and so on. There was no guesswork or doubt — the writers say God communicated direct with people with knew Him.

But who would claim such personal contact with Santa Claus? For instance, is Santa Claus tall and skinny with long black hair? Does he live at the equator and ride a motorcycle? If these details are not correct, how do we know they're not?

In contrast, the Bible writers and prophets clearly identify God for us. They tell us about Him and how to know Him personally. Jesus said, “he that hath seen me hath seen the Father” (John 14:9). Millions have found that God rewards those who earnestly seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). Would anyone rush to claim the same for Santa Claus?
