Hagee is no stranger to provocative remarks. On National Public Radio in 2006, he said Hurricane Katrina was God's judgment because "New Orleans had a level of sin that was offensive to God." He has written that the feminist movement represents "a rebellion against God's pattern for the family.

Doesnt seem to bother Hagee, that New Orleans was mostly christian, not protestant, but whose keeping track right?
Yeah, yeah, it's the same shit that they all spew.
I've discovered that not everyone realizes how fundie the fundies can be. I ran into a fundie when I was out with a friend. I wouldn't even consider posting what this fundie was spouting on here because it was about this level, but my friend was really shocked.
I've become so jaded.
This shows us two things:
1) Fundies are all cut from roughly the same mould.
2) We've become too jaded to these quotes.
You know, I really don't give a flying leap what any pastor says, regardless of what church he's at or who attends that church. Attending a church with a funky pastor does not make the attendee a clone of the pastor.
First Obama's pastor, now McCain's. Really, who the hell cares? I'm not voting for a pastor, I'm voting for a president.

You forget, a Fundie regards EVERYTHING his pastor says as Gospel.
Therefore, he thinks everyone else does, too.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, God smites New Orleans but spares Vegas. Is Yahweh a closet Wayne Newton fan or something?
"New Orleans had a level of sin that was offensive to God."
Funny how the worst part of New Orleans was barely even hit.
Honestly, whatever happened to "love thy neighbor"?
Wait a minute he killed the God-fearing folks of New Orleans, leaving the sinful French Quarter out of it, and then didn't smite San Francisco?
Where's the sense in that?
Was it him or someone else that "saw" an unborn fetus in a satellite photo of Katrina and said NOLA had it coming because they were so immoral they had more abotions there than any other city in the country? BTW I saw that photo, and there was nothing to it. It was an ordinary IR photo, and most storms build up on one side like that.
It's like every pastor's brain in America has become quantum-entangled with every other. However, rather than linking their brains together to become a sort of super-brain, every preacher in America is stuck sharing the mental capacity of just one brain with every other. It's why they all say the same crap over and over and why sometimes you can't tell one preacher from another.
Wasn't the churchy part of New Orleans hit harder than the night-cluby part?
God's pattern for the family?
You mean the rapist buys his victim from her father? No?
Well, the man uses his wife's maid as sexslave? No?
What about a widow and her dead husband's brother being forced to marry? No?
A man taking as many wives and concubines as he can pay the bride price for? No?
Well, what DO you mean with God's pattern for the family? Those are all in that Bible of yours.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
