When I went to see Avatar, the theater showed a quick preview of the upcoming Glenn Beck/Bill O'Riely live show. Most of the theater booed, and a few people (myself included) fliped off the screen.

So providing people with the ability to get medical help when needed, the ability to get an education that would further peoples careers and provide better job opportunities, and opening the door to the well paying jobs of the future maintains "victim" status. Ok Glenn.
Okay, if it's UNIVERSAL, how is it in any way favoring minorities, specifically, blacks? Cause, you know, EVERYONE would be able to take part, by virtue of being American.
@WMDKitty: Because Beck, O'Reilly, Bush, Cheney & Co. are rich enough to get the best health care already. Therefore "universal" health care would only be used by those outside their privileged circle. And so far as Beck & Buddies know, all those Other People are black illegal immigrant Welfare queens. Ergo, reparations and admission of exploitation.
Note that I didn't say this actually made sense. Some of this bunch even think any formal acknowledgement that slavery was evil is the first step in a plot to confiscate all white-owned property.

The best way to guarantee good healthcare, free tuition and well-paying jobs is to have every American take the oath to be appointed as a US senator.
