Okay, sure. I have no reason to fight for the civil rights of blacks, just because if our society can justify enslaving people based on skin color, they could do it for hair color, or education levels, or unmarried parents, or any fucking justification they want, which would affect me, but i shouldn’t get involved until it DIRECTLY affects me.

Except i took an oath to support and defend the constitution, which means i promised to protect the interest of all Americans. So, yeah, I have the reason.
