My religion does not force anything upon me...nor do I force my religion upon anyone else...
But, it would be a sin to see another sinning, and not correct them.

"Sin" is a religious thing, Therese.
Do you really believe that behaving like a Pharisee is righteous in any Christian way?
Mathew chapter 7 says otherwise.
1"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
3"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.
If you aren't perfect, don't try to make others perfect.
But, it would be a sin to see another sinning, and not correct them
But only if you've never sinned yourself. Reread John 8.
HAPPINESS IS MANDATORY.
FAILURE TO REPORT TREASON IS TREASON.
FAILURE TO REPORT FAILURE TO REPORT TREASON IS TREASON.
STAY ALERT.
TRUST NO ONE.
KEEP YOUR BIBLE HANDY.
HAVE A NICE DAY!
Please, StTherese, sit there and watch, as I whack off all over your pretty little face. Because as every fundy knows, masturbation is a sin. And if your arms were chained, my sin would be your sin too. And then we can live in a happy, fun, sin-filled life, where you no longer have bamboo growing up your arse. :D
As tempted as I am to keep going on the Alpha Complex theme here, let's not derail this. We're talking about StTherese, remember?
1) Don't you have to be dead to be canonized a Saint?
2) Don't you have to perform three miracles?
3) Does blatant self-contradiction count as a miracle?
I know what you mean, StTherese.
Like the time I killed this guy, but he survived it.
This was, I guess, her user title:
"If you judge people, you have no time to love them"
(Gospel of Thomas, quotation #42)
Jesus said, "Become passers-by."
And you still think it's not contradiction?, who do you think you are to "correct" anybody, instead of minding your own business?(honestly, you're disgracing a very intelligent woman stealing her name)
“My religion does not force anything upon me...”
Unless, of course, you LIKE the things that ARE forced on you, so you think yourself free…
“nor do I force my religion upon anyone else...”
Are you SUUUUUUUURE of that?
“But, it would be a sin to see another sinning, and not correct them.”
Ah. So, see? You ARE forced to stick your nose into other people’s business. You’re saying it’s a sin to not correct a sinner. Whether they ask or not.
It’d be different IFF you waited for others to ask you if they’re sinning, and what to do about it. Then it’s not forcing your religion on others. NOt if your opinion was invited.
But if i’m on the street, NOT PRACTICING YOUR RELIGION, and you feel like telling me that I’m violating your god’s desires, that’s a sucky thing to do.
Confused?
