I'll accept Jesus is a real historical person, but the fact that he was EYEwitnessed does nothing to prove your religion based on said person. Nobody has EYEwitnessed God, and most of the bible is third or fifteenth hand stories.
The fact that nobody has seen an apelike creature turn into a human disproves shapeshifters, not evolution. Learn how evolution works. Nowhere does the theory require people witnessing something like that, but luckily we have all kinds of evidence that predates everything is your precious storybook by, how many millions of years is it?

I said this before, but one of these days I'd like to visit the Creationist museum, just to see what kind of 'arguments' they try to lay against evolution.

No. Jesus Christ and his life on earth were SAID TO BE eye-witnessed. Supposedly eye-witnessed by persons unknown, supposedly recorded years later by persons unknown, persons who wrote nothing we know of either before or after their "record" of Jesus. And, none of the person for whom Jesus supposedly performed miracles ever wrote a word about such marvels. All those persons "Matthew" claims rose from their graves, never seem to have written nor said a word about their resurrections, not even a polite thank you note.
The biblical Jesus is a complete fiction.
In Hitchens' "God is Not Great," he seems to imply at one point, though he never expressly says, that there is actually more evidence for the existence of the life of Muhammad than the life of Jesus.
Of course, that they could be proven to exist means nothing. I've heard people make the claim that "Jesus was not a liar!" Well, maybe he wasn't, but that's not the point. The point is that he and Muhammad were not the ones telling lies, they were the ones ABOUT whom lies were told.
AND! We have witnessed evolution in action, as can be seen in the case of antibiotic-resistant disease-causing germs (was it Tuberculosis?) . From the perspective of one of these bacteria, the mutation that caused it to develop resistance to drugs is definitely, to use your word, "better."

There are comparable numbers of people to those alleged eye-witnesses who will swear blind that they have witnessed Elvis alive and well after his death. What, exactly, is your point?
Additionally, there are large numbers who have claimed to see Big Foot, UFOs, and various other interesting yet mythical creatures. (It's also interesting to note that most of these myths have their respective museums as well. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that the followers of the bible myths would want their own such museum.)
I hate to break it to you singinrick, but evolution is a fact. It has been documented to have happened. The mechanism behind it, the how or the "theory of evolution" is an area of on going study.

What's parodoxical here is that JC's life doesn't have anything to do with the creation of earth anyway, since that is depicted in the Old Testament, not the New one.

I guess that means there's no such thing as "atoms" or "molecules", either, since they can't be seen. (Well, they CAN be seen with electron microscopes, but that's science so it doesn't count. image )

No. They took bacteria that couldn't digest lactose and put it in a dish with lots of lactose, and it not only evolved the ability to digest the lactose, it evolved a several step process to do it with. So, yes, they've seen evolution; it was beneficial to the organism; and it was a an example of multi-step evolution of "irreducible complexity".

"EYE-Witnessed!"??? Great, names and addresses so we can talk to these eye-witnesses. Oh, we can't, they all died at least 1900 years ago. Okay, well you have multiple witnessed statements to verify the truthfulness these people's statements. No, they all come from one religious book and there are no records from either the Romans or the Egyptians, two of the best known record-keeping societies of the ancient world. So there are no independent records to back up these events? The only record appears to be a fake from the writings of the ancient historian Josephus added later by early Christians that contradicts every thing else that Josephus ever wrote(kinda like David Barton's fake Madison quotes in "Myth of Seperation")! And you say "evolution can't be proven" even there are thousands of fossils and experiments by reputable scientists in "natural selection"? Let me guess, "You think that this is SpongeBob's opposite day, and you must be Squidward!" Otherwise, you are a blithering idiot!
