Honestly, I make a great baby sitter (I have done so in the past and the kids almost always love me), I am excellent with kids (regardless of their ages or gender).

Um... If you're an admitted pedophile, and I hire you to babysit, and nothing bad happens, great.
If I hire you, and ANYTHING happens (your fault, kid's fault, act of god, terrorist activity, meteor falls from the sky and smashes the TV into blithereens), everyone will jump MY shit, asking 'Well? What did you expect?'

I wonder how many of those who rightists would consider 'Liberals' that voted in MPs who ensured said anti -paedophile legislation was not only passed but strengthened via giving the police extra powers (said 2009 Coroners & Justice Act) in ensuring that nonces were the least protected in Britain?

If a pedophile doesn't act on their attraction at all, not even looking at pictures then that person is not a monster. Feelings are not in and of themselves good or bad, only actions are. Still babysitting is courting temptation, and so is seriously irresponsible. It's like a recovering alcoholic going out to the bars and reasoning that there's nothing wrong with it just as long as he doesn't drink an alcoholic beverage, except far worse due to the extent of the damage you would cause if you acted on it.
