If it's so easily 'transferred', as And-e-ru said, then why is God meant to be so keen to confine them to the darkest pits of Hell? That seems kind of harsh, since their only crime was catching a so-called 'disease'.

If being gay is transferable (is that even a word?) then there should be about 1500 gay children at the school I graduated from. We had a gay French teacher. And if it is just the general mind set that is transfered, he was funnier than most other teachers.
Christian's like this guy don't have a clue about the bible. I'm a Christian myself and I've read Romans 1, but more importantly I've read Romans 2:1 You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. 2 Now we know that God's judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. 3 So when you, a mere man, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God's judgment? 4 Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God's kindness leads you toward repentance?
That was Paul's point, not to enumerate a list of sins, but to point out that those who are judging others are just as guilty. You simply can't quote the bible out of context!
Maybe fundies are so scared of gays because revelations states that only 144,000 MEN who have never been 'defiled' by a woman will get to heaven.

I have read Romans and the mention to homosexuals is very brief. Second, I thought that the reason why they couldn´t marry is because they couldn´t have children, that their life styles was deliberately chosen. Please, make up your minds.

If you admit that it's "easily transmitted to children" you are admitting that there is some biological basis for homosexuality, that is, that they're born that way. I don't see the conexion with Romans, anyway.
