I really can't give you a definitive answer for that. Yes, Russians—real, native Russians, not just Russian citizens—are most certainly White.

If you are a liberal, than you should be able to understand this very well: I would like to remind you that the Slavic race, and the Russian people, have been repeatedly used, abused, enslaved en mass, brutalized, had their land occupied, by non-Whites over the centuries. The Mongols, the arabs/turks,and jews. It is said that so many Slavs were kidnapped and sold as slaves into the ottoman empire that the arabs used to joke that there couldn't be any Russians left in Russia because there were so many down there. That is how many White slaves were being transported around the world to be abused and cruelly treated, and although there were some from the other White races, it was mostly the Slavs that suffered all this. They have been more oppressed than possibly any other people. And they had the legacy left by the bolshevik jews still ruling their lives, denying them freedom until 1990. Now they are facing the genocide of their race again through mass immigration of non-Whites. The Muslims are trying to conquer them again. And I could go on.

Now, because I am not a liberal, I do not actually believe that all these irrefutably true facts excuse any White Russian for any violence he may commit. However, I want you to realize that the most oppressed people in history were not the blacks or the jews, but Whites, and mostly Russians. Remember what they have been through. It is not an excuse, but it should make you feel for them and understand where they are coming from. And as others pointed out, it may very well be mostly the non-White population of the country driving the violence rate up so high.
