The entire Internet teems with the ideas and views of atheists who want the world to know that anyone who believes in a Deity is basically "superstitious and irrational". Ravi Zacharias didn’t understand what atheism even IS, I see. And this from a guy who said he was an atheist until he was 17?

I might need “infinite knowledge” to believe there is NO god, but I sure don’t to NOT believe in one.

Atheists also have the scientific evidence. Science doesn’t know everything but religion knows nothing.

As I said before, absolute proof is a thing for mathematical abstractions and thought experiments, not for our study of the real world from our limited perspective, where it is nothing but sophistry used to demand that all evidence is dismissed in favour of one’s pet belief system because special pleading.

I do not see anything that would suggest that there is such a thing as deities - indeed, the gaps to move the God goalpost into continue to shrink further and further; on the other hand the evidence that all religions (includine and perhaps especially the Abrahamic religions) are of purely cultural origin is overwhelming. I am also a metaphysical naturalist, rejecting the Supernatural as a concept.

What your 'God' didn't tell you about that... thing, least of all in person: why is this? Seems he's not the only one that's inferior to us if we know more about Rapey than you.

That’s the attitude that Kissing Hank’s Ass lampoons with: “Scientists say the moon’s made of rock. But they don’t know for certain whether that rock came from the Earth or from outer space, so it’s just as likely that it’s made of green cheese as it says in Hank’s List!”

I’m an agnostic, so I don’t draw any conclusions either way, certainly don’t have infinite knowledge. If God wants to present himself to me, the way he supposedly did to Moses and Paul, OF COURSE I would believe, who wouldn’t?

I do know that Ravi Zacharias was a sick pervert.

And see, children, this is why you don’t take advice from rapists.
