Since I haven't abused any substances, drank, or suffered head trauma, I find that a comparison a bit hard to follow. I think that he perceives both actions as the heinous activities of two depraved conspiring groups bent on gaining influence and authority over the masses to subvert, destroy, and replace his conventional, traditional values with theirs. Still a horrible and stupid comparison between totally disparate groups, but I at least managed to extract some sense, or a distorted parody of which, from the original.

Uh, lemmie break it down to you, The Hater....
* Two people of the same sex are treated as human beings. They marry & adopt kids. Kids get loving parents to raise them. All is peaceful, nobody dies.
* A bunch of crazy psychos hijack planes and crash into buildings, raping & pillaging, mass slaughter, heads a-rollin', guns a-blazin', bombs a-booming. Blood, guts & mayhem everywhere! There is no peace and countless DIE!

Nope, gay rights is equivalent to straight rights. If such creatures as straights are allowed to adopt humans as children, gays ought to be too. And lesbians as well, of course.
