Except in every country with a Christian state religion, every place where Christians provided the only available education, healthcare, or social service, or places where Christians make and enforce the law to suit their own ends. Unless you're a Unitarian or a Quaker, allow me to disagree.
Christian generated legislation, placing christian monuments on government grounds (and refusing to share that space with monuments of other faiths), public protesting for Jesus...shall I go on?
Fucking with the law so that it reflects only your specific religious views when the laws in this country affect every US citizen actually does qualify as 'forcing your point of view down everyone else's throats'.
For reference, please consult the Native American and LGBT communities, and women. Thank you.

'For many decades Christians have specifically BEEN REMINDED THEY CAN'T FORCE their point of view down the throat of anybody.'
fixed to reflect reality.
And your lot knows you've been forcing it more lately as stats and collection plates show you're losing ground and your first knee jerk reaction is forcing your beliefs, clergy and flock because this is how you've always done it.
Oh, you may be trying to make coercion, family/peer pressure, reinstatement of old religious tenants rule of law not seem like force but it's still the same doctorial shit the predominated the dumbing down of America in the fifties.
Confused?
