That's cute, TT, but:
1) How do you know God said it? Just because someone wrote it down doesn't make it true.
2) If God did say it, how do you know you are getting the actual words and their intended meaning after so many years of translation and re-translation?
3) Looking at your quoted passage, doesn't it bother you that Paul openly contradicts Jesus? Jesus said that ALL fall short, and "Judge not, lest ye be judged", etc. Assuming your fairytale was truth, how do you know that Satan didn't trick the fallible, human, Paul and make him write things that stood Christ's teachings on their head? Even Paul writes about how many of the others who followed Jesus rejected and turned away from him, calling him a false teacher. Just because a bunch of pointy-hatted guys in the 5th century preferred the authoritarian Pauling teachings to control the masses, over some writings, like Thomas, doesn't make the the "Word Of God". Some guys chose them as politically expedient, that's all. If you try living by Christ's teachings, I still wouldn't believe your fairytale, but I might respect that you approach life from the philosophy of someone that had a lot of good ideas. (Presuming Jesus existed...)
Take Care...
Well...
1.) Because God uses people. And Paul had committed himself to the Lord. He was filled with te holy spirit.
2.) Believe that the bible is true.
3.) Paul was filled with the holy spirit. The holy spirit would never mislead. Also Paul was talking about judgement as in those who have the mind of Christ are not subjected to the judgement of man. Basically no man [of this world] can instruct or judge a man who posseses the mind of Christ because the one who has the mind of Christ is already being lead correctly/in righteousness.
And Paul [and all Christians] have the power to defeat Satan through Jesus Christ.
1 John 4:4 states
4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you [Christ, the Holy Spirit] is greater than the one who is in the world [Satan].
This may be a fairytale to you but it is more real than life itself to me. I have experienced Christ personally and I cannot deny Him nor live without Him.
