Gen. Chuck Yeager served in not only Vietnam, but Korea & WWII. In the latter, his Supreme Commander was Dwight D. Eisenhower: Yeager & another 600,000 of his comrades returned to the US alive from the War in Europe part of that conflict because of Enigma-decrypted information via Bletchley Park supplied to the later president Eisenhower.
I'll give you just one guess as to who shared that info with them.
