Wow, then in that case, we should start to obey the Bible. It's time to give to anyone who asks, with no thought of return, and I trust that you'll lead by example. Or is God going to smite us for disobeying those Biblical commandments that you like?

As a logical extension of Hyper-Calvinist doctrine, those 40 million fetuses were no more "innocent" than the 40-year olds they might eventually have became. Their destinations in the afterlife were decided long before they were born. God saved those whom He wanted, and the rest--the overwhelming majority of them--were consigned to Hell, based on the Creator's decision when the world was made. Nothing that they would have done later in life would have changed that fate one iota.
ShieldOfFaith is rather indignant, but it really has little to nothing to do with any conception of justice, fairness or mercy that we would recognize--and everything to do with what he perceives as property rights. In his world, those lives, as well as ours, were God's property, to dispose of in any way that He sees fit. But as one of the doctrines of Calvinism is predestination, their deaths by abortion were also foreordained. I wonder how he deals with the cognitive dissonance?
9/11 is the most spectacular example of a phenomenon called terrorism, which have taken place in the Middle East, Europe and other places in the world long before. Stop measuring the world by American standards.
