If you watch the news and you notice that once in awhile there is a school shooting. I do not get why kids can not pray but we can pretty much bring Satin in our schools. I believe that kids should pray to whoever they believe in...don't you?

Oh look...the idiocy leaked through onto our side of the internet! Mental health treatment for people who are violent and malicious is more practical than school sponsored prayer, and the divisive potential such actions would have. School prayer, itself, is not censored, 608908. Students can pray as they wish (if they are not disruptive), and teachers can pray as they wish (as long as they are not in front of a classroom at the time). And school shootings are, in reality, of minor significance, despite sensationalist coverage of it in the news which is further indicatiion of their rarity.

In short, your concerns are noted and range from blatantly incorrect to trivial. Thank you for your time.

I am not saying that Satan is the problem but whoever is mentally insane out there and wants to shoot people and laugh, they totally believe in Satan! Now if we were to pray for any God that we believe in then this probably would not happen..don't you think?
there is so many people out there that are so insane that it is noticable! it is so scary thinking about going to school when someone could shoot you or someone else...it does not matter who. it depends on when it will happen.

Liberals push the stupid fucking idea that the solution to school shootings is invasive mental health counseling,while the counselors themselves have NO idea what they are talking about. The solution is so fucking obvious... STOP CENSORING SCHOOL PRAYER!!!! Let's take the Columbine shooters for example. Eric Harris was a homosexual who hated Christians. Dylan Klebold was raised in a Jewish family and was taught Marxist idealogies. Both of them hated Christians,and neither studied the bible nor worshipped the ONE TRUE GOD.

News flash, troll: Jesus was a Jew, Jews and gays don't hate Christians for the most part (and Jews have the same god as you), and school prayer is unconstitutional. Go back to Focus on the Family.

Sorry, I fail to see what effect "gun control laws" would have on the storage of firearms in the home, except in terms of punishment after the fact. I'm afraid that this notion of "gun control" is just a false sense of security. That guy in China slashed quite a few schoolchildren to death with a knife, would you like to ban knives next?

It's a bumper-sticker cliche, but I guess it needs repeating. As long as there are tests, there will be prayer in school. "Please God, I know I blew off this class this whole semester, but please let me pass this exam. Amen."

Mental health: Liiiiiiiiiiike ... the shrinks who told my parents that it was their fault I'm ADHD/LD? And that I needed to be drugged up to the eyeballs and locked in Special Ed. all day -- so I couldn't contaminate the pretty little Normals -- if I had any hope of ever functioning in public? And that the daily teasing I received from my peers was my fault because I wasn't a brainless lemming?

Gun control: Dude, my father is a Life Member of the NRA. Until I was 6 we lived in a 12X60 *trailer* and his reloading bench was in the fracking kitchen. Why are several of my former schoolmates still breathing? Because my parents told the "college educated professional experts" at my school to stick their "You have to trust Amber to make her own decisions" hogwash and shove it, and kept track of my comings, goings, and who I associated with. Overprotective and repressive? Perhaps, but when the cop car pulled up in front of school every Monday, it was never me they were looking for!

And in closing ... a DICTIONARY, motherfuckers! Buy one!

Someone with a knive is much easier to bring down than someone with firearms. You will have maybe 3-4 victims if someone with a knive ran amok and he could probably overpowered by an some teachers compared to firearms where 1-2 people armed with a couple of weapons can kill 30+ humans and then barricade themselves in the bulding and start a shooting with the police.

Look at europe, AFAIK every country there has strict gun control laws and the only school shooting I know of was in Erfurt and involved a puopil whose father had guns at home (the father was a hunter and member of a local shooting club, therefore was allowed to have small calibre guns at home (he neglected, however, the statute to keep your guns locked away at home, so that his son could get hold of them and use them in the massacre).
(same goes for the numbr of people killed by firearms, which in europe is negligible compared to the same number for the USA)
It may be that also in the USA most people would use firearms only in self defense. But that there is a high percentage of assholes who think otherwise (and use the firearms for criminal activities or to shoot people just because they can) is proven by your criminal statistics regarding firearms (and without gun control laws you cannot keep the firearms out of reach of such idiots)
