Why do fundamentalist theists all seem to think that becoming an atheist immediately leads to a life of drug addiction, murder, rape, etc.? I don’t know one single atheist who fits that description. As a matter of fact, the atheists that I know sit around drinking tea and talking about how to bring down civilization. Oops, I shouldn't have said that.
Actually, if everybody who doesn't believe in God were committing crimes in the Street, we'd been unable to get out the street. 10% of the population devoted to crime would be too many people. Well, let's put it this way, could you explain why Timothy MacVeigh, the 11/9 perpetrators or those who bomb abortion clinics or whatever are religious?, or why have jails chaplains and different "spiritual counsellors", if religious people never commit crimes?

People like this truly scare me, and make me wonder. Would the world truly be better off with religion? If suddenly, these nutjobs found out there was nothing on the other side of the leash they're on, I truly feel they'd tear the world apart.
