Hold on, if homosexuality is a disease and a sin, then what kind of sin is a head cold? And Influenza? And cancer. Seems to me lots of really good people get these things - nobody escaped head colds and flu. So... All sinners...

Sin and diseases are not synonymous, and, by their very nature CAN'T be synonymous. Otherwise, both medicine and theology would be kind of confused. Look it up in a medical dictionary.
How do you intend to "cure" a child of homosexuality?
I'm an adult who thinks you might need to be "cured" of something else, but I wouldn't "cure" you with a 10 and a half foot pole.

Seriously, disease? There's a reason homosexuality isn't listed in the DSM anymore.

If it is a disease, then it is not a sin, as it lacks free will. Also, since it's always "there" that says to me that God put it there. As such, who are you to question God's wisdom? You never d on any other genetic malady, usually using it as a reason to crow about all he;s teaching you...but homosexuality must be wiped out. Gotcha.
