From a news account in which google employees went into orbit at the word “family”. If liberalism wasn’t a mental disorder, us comics would be out of business.

Oh, he's heard someone talking about Leave It to Beaver! Heard about how unrealistic a portrayal it is of the majority of families. And then this jackass probably talked about the 60s, hippies, and the sexual revolution, as if all the abuse and dysfunction started after the 1950s. Besides which, the thing I hate about Leave It to Beaver is not that his father acts decent and tries to guide his sons, it's that it pretends the worst thing to ever possibly happen is Beaver might forget to do his homework, and be stupid enough to come up with a lie about it. At least in the Andy Griffith Show, the cops deal with actual criminals, who even have guns!

Also, Leave It to Beaver just plain isn't funny.

Liberals are not the ones triggered by the word Family, dolt. Family is simply the group of people you carry closest to your heart (in the best or worlds). Whether you're married or cohabiting, relatives or friends, gay or straight, black or white or purple, divorced or not. It's as inclusionary as you want it to be.

Fundies, on the other hand, want to keep "FAMILY" (TM) limited to Father (Head of Family), Mother (Homemaker), Proud Son and Darling Daughter.
Period. End of Story.
Oh, Fathers from Quiverfull movements can get a dispensation for As Many Wives and Children as They Can Afford.

Those MAGA hats are pretty disgusting; I wouldn't even force them on my worst enemy.

"Us?" Is there a turd in your pocket? Because it's infinitely funnier than anything you hope to achieve. There's a reason that there are few, if any, right-wing comedians.
