As a former basic bitch libertarian, I remain sympathetic to them. I do in fact believe that the general framework of a minarchist society by far results in the greatest prosperity and happiness for its citizens. I also believe that such a society can only be maintained if women and the poor have no voice in government, immigration is held below 1% (probably well below), and some adequate of connecting ideological poison (such as Islam and Communism) to treason. That's why I don't openly identify as libertarian any more.

So, basically, libertarianism means to get as much freedom as possible, but only for those you like. Sounds legit.
The right-wing pestilence that calls itself libertarianism at work. Which has almost nothing to do with original left-wing libertarianism. I am not a fan of that either (I favor Social Democracy), but at least social libertarians aren't a bunch of racist, fascistic right-wingers who only want freedom for themselves, and not freedom for everyone.
"I'm all for freedom, except that whole 'freedom to not be me' part".
I'm glad you're gone. The red and blue parties have a place for you, I'm sure. And "basic bitch libertarian?" I'm betting you're not real.
Who's gonna enforce all that, the government?

You mean a tiny fragment of the population, right? Why do libertarians assume they'll be the ones enjoying freedom and not working in some godawful business 16+ hours a day with zero safety regulations or job security for scrip in the company store like what most people will probably end up becoming in a libertarian/minarchist society?

Minarchist is someone who believes in the minimum power of the state. So basically, extremely small government powers. From Wikipedia "it holds that states ought to exist (as opposed to anarchy), that their only legitimate function is the protection of individuals from aggression, theft, breach of contract, and fraud, and that the only legitimate governmental institutions are the military, police, and courts. In the broadest sense, it also includes fire departments, prisons, the executive, and legislatures as legitimate government functions. Such states are generally called night-watchman states."
However this person uses it to justify Racism, Sexism, and hardline right-winger anti-Islam and anti-communist sentiments.

Sounds like Haiti is your ideal kind of place.
@TimeToTurn:
For the same reason they always assume they'd be Lords of the Manor if we returned to feudalism, that they'd be entitled to eat in the Officer's Club if they visited a military base, and that their particular sect would be in charge if the country became a theocracy.
They're special. Their mother always told them so.
Confused?
