Um...the whole self-improvement idea is for you, not the person you wish to attract.

There is always room for self-improvement for everyone.

Again, this is key for everyone.

While that may be true for some girls, it's not true for EVERY girl. Personally, I like them on the lanky side of things.
"Read some books and become smarter"
To a point, I agree. For example I decided to learn another language. But you don't "become smarter" by reading books. You can however expand your knowledge by reading books.
In my case of learning a new language at the age of 50, I'm using the app Duolingo.
"Get some new hobbies"
The hobbies such as whining about how you are not getting your micro-penis wet is not a good hobby to attract a mate.
"Get an interesting life"

"Get some new clothes"
A non-point point really. I can use some new clothes.
"Get a good degree"
It's becoming to where college is the new high school. This point is also really a non-point point.
"Get a good job"
A good job is helpful. It gets one out among others instead of dwelling in your mother's basement whining at how you can't get your micro-dick wet.
"Get a nice car"
A car isn't necessary a qualifier to getting your micro-dick wet. People who live in metropolitan areas use mass transit to get around. Guess what, in those areas are people who are successful at getting some as well without a car.

Basically in the same vein as "getting a nice car". Appropriate dwellings (not mom's basement) is appreciated though.
"Take your daily shower"
This is pretty much a no-brainer. Showering goes a long way when it come to...EVERONE.
