You read wrong; GoFundMe does not permit raising money for violating the law. The court ruled that the bakers were guilty under Oregon's non-discrimination laws, so if you want GoFundMe to host your campaign, don't break the law. That's not an unreasonable request. And if you identify GoFundMe with "homosexual advocates," why set up or contribute to a campaign there in the first place? By the way, GoFundMe gets to keep the $37,000 raised by hateful bigots like you raised for this account.
Because Jesus would be proud to raise thousands of dollars for intolerant bigots.
And the doublespeak is strong with this one... accusing those he is hateful and intolerant toward of being hateful and intolerant bigots because they won't just accept discrimination and bigotry.
Lemme 'splain this.... What GoFundMe has done is say, in effect, if someone does something illegal or hateful or just plain nasty, IT IS NOT RIGHT for them to benefit from their misbehavior! Any parent of small children or owner of a dog could explain it to you ... if you let them get by with it, you can only expect more such rotten behavior.
After all, what if you broke a large handful of the commandments and told your priest. Do you think he should say "Attaboy! That's the way to do it"? Or should he counsel you to repent, pay back the stolen money, turn yourself in to the cops, all in the hope that you won't make those mistakes any more?
