You can only serve one master. God can't be your master and common sense too.

Excellent. I'll serve the one that hasn't served me wrong yet.
Sorry, G-man. It just was never meant to be.
That's funny, I've met a number of Christians who like to tell me to use my God-given common sense.
Common sense is not something I worship. It's not something I obey, either, but I'm an idiot like that. So... you're right. Common sense can't be your master, because it's an inate skill rather than an external force. Common sense works for you.
Or at least it would if you had any.
God, common sense, God, common sense. Hmmmm? Well, God's done about nothing for me, and common sense keeps me out of harm's way. God made people (says you), and people suck, common sense made me a sandwich and I saw that it was good. Sorry God, you lose.
If you see a busy intersection, which one is gonna tell you not to go running into it? God or Common Sense?
I dunno about you, but I'm gonna go with the one that's gonna keep me above the dirt longer...
Truer words have never been spoken. *prefers to use common sense, but doesn't serve it* LOL
I love this shit- these people have no idea what logic is! God doesn't exist, common sense seems like it doesn't exist, but, frankly, it's easier to find and prove. Like in, "everybody knows jumping off a cliff without a parachute is likely to kill your dumb ass..." Yup. Which do you think I'm gonna be happier with?
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
