Let's say gay marriage was the norm and became the standard... it would eventually lead to a world without children.
Two men or women can't have children. It takes a man and a women, that's a fact. Marriage was ordained by God as the structure to raise a family and creates a successful soceity.
I have read a book about the destruction of 30 of the worlds strongest kingdoms. Homosexuality was a predominant factor when they all fell.

Yes, because once a few gays marry, we're ALL going to turn gay and the human race will die! [/sarcasm]
I'd be willing to bet money that one of the kingdoms he read about was Rome. Of course, he'll completely ignore the fact that it lasted a thousand years (you can add on another thousand to that if you count the Eastern Roman Empire, based in Constantinople, which later become the Byzantine Empire).
*sigh* I've lost count of the number of times I have had to refute this argument in debates with fundies. By Armistead14's logic, celibacy should be considered immoral, as should the choice not to have children, as should the inability to conceive. If *everyone* was like that, there would be no children too. But not everyone is like that. Doofus.
And considering that, not everyone is as intellectually challenged as armistead14, and that the technology exists, that if we for some unexplained reason, all decided to be homosexual, we could still have children through the process of In Vitro fertalization. I am fairly sure that people would recognize the need for a future and would participate in the droves. But, as has been pointed out, we aren't all homosexual, nor will we become universally homosexual.
Uh, sweetie, I'm gay, I have three kids I did it all without benefit of a husband. Does the term 'in vitro fertilization' come through the bells that must be ringing constantly in that emppty little head of yours?
"I have read a book about the destruction of 30 of the worlds strongest kingdoms. Homosexuality was a predominant factor when they all fell."
That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
" It takes a man and a women, that's a fact. "
You mean I have to do more than one chick to have a kid? Woo! I win!
[/shameless nitpicking]
Not more than 10% (600,000,000) people are gay, the rest are straight and breeding,
Please give a citation for your last claim, the name of the book would be a start
Legal does not equal obligatory, schmoes. If gay marriage DID become the norm for some bizarre reason, the only children would be the progeny of fundies like yourselves, which is what you want, n'est-ce pas?
Let's say gay marriage was the norm and became the standard... it would eventually lead to a world without children.
Firstly, there are other ways of conceiving children. Gays have managed it for some time, as a matter of fact. Second, this assumes that the entire world spontaneously goes gay, which is, to be delicate, laughable.
Two men or women can't have children.
But they can adopt. And have you heard the term surrogate mother?
It takes a man and a women, that's a fact.
Can't argue that...but it doesn't need to be the old fashioned man-on-top, homemade way.

Uh-huh...
I have read a book about the destruction of 30 of the worlds strongest kingdoms. Homosexuality was a predominant factor when they all fell.
Name 4. Sodom and Gomorrah haven't even been proven to exist, and CHRISTIANITY seemed to be the prevailing winds when Rome fell...not homosexuality...
You mean the only thing keeping you out of a gay marriage is the fact that it's illegal where you are? And you believe that's the only reason everyone isn't rushing out to find same-sex partners?
Get out of the closet. The real straight people will continue to reproduce.
1. Not everyone is gay. In fact, homosexuals are kind of a minority...
2. We have plenty of people already. Even if 50% of the population somehow went gay, we'd have plenty of people fucking and squeezing out babies.
3. Reproductive technologies, such as surrogates/sperm donors, can let gay couples have kids.
4. I'd like to see that book, because I very much doubt it.
"Let's say gay marriage was the norm and became the standard"
I don't know about you, but I'll never become gay all of a sudden and marry another bloke - sexuality does not work that way. Me thinks you might be a tad insecure in your sexuality.
Then you have no knowledge of biology. You know what the future is? It's lesbians. The y chromozome is shrinking and once it's gone nothing but women. It's alredy happend in a type of lizard and the still have babies. Evolution and addaptaion are similar. When men die off, women will evolve to have babies without men.
"I have read a book about the destruction of 30 of the worlds strongest kingdoms. Homosexuality was a predominant factor when they all fell."
Name one!
And if you say Sodom and/or Gomorrah, please present archeological evidence to support your assertion. Folktales, including those from Genesis, won't cut it.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
