Homosexuals are attempting to screw things up so badly that there can not be the existance of a "normal teenager" anymore. Pretty bad when its not possible for normal teenagers to exist in this world. Because the self avowed homosexuals are so screwed up they want everything and everybody to be screwed up so they arent perceived to be freak shows.

Hi Dicks here, Cox is in his room learning Japanese. Cox harbours an ambition to tour Japan to promote Gays4God. His tutor Mr. Suzuki is with him today and together they are going through some of the finer points of Japanese culture. Sounds like he's getting a firmer grasp of the language too, I can here them from here. "Ahh ooh awww o ahh o ooo nnnggh uh huff grrnoo ore aaaagh", Cox is saying. I wonder what that means in English.

Its not just America, although it looks like that's what I meant - although I still do not exclude America. However, I mean anywhere social liberties are threatened by vocal and irrational minorities.

So long as one obeys the laws of the land nobody should be interested in what you do in the bedroom - or in private. As it happens most of the clippings come from America which unbalances the perspective, and that';s the pit I fell into. Still it does looks like there is a particular prurience abroad in the US where a lot of people spend their time worrying about others' sexualities. And that is sick. The attitude where I live is this: don't shove our noses into your private affairs, please, because we have no interest. Just keep within the law. As to being anti-American. No. Anti fundie? Definitely. And quite mystified that the fundies should seem to have so much clout there. Indeed any country that allows people with such vicious and biased views undue influence is pretty well fucked up.

There never WAS a such thing as normal. Normal was a bunch of arbitrary standards of which everyone wanted their kid to adhere to. Smart, and athletic, and chaste, and 5'11" tall and...and...and... Normal is bullshit, as everyone is different.

Pretty bad when its not possible for normal teenagers to exist in this world.
It's pretty bad when a kid has to fit a mould for fear of being slapped with the "defective" label from people like you.

I agree almost entirely with what you say, although I would add that the tyranny of the majority is something that we should all be very much aware of; unthinkingly expecting our own particular cultural biases to be adopted across the board and taking exception to those who refuse to conform to those same expectations is in itself dangerous. But, being a fundie "fan", I'm sure you're well aware of that!

I'll also add that of the USAians I know they are almost all unfailingly decent human beings who take very much to heart the ideas put forth in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and have been the first to condemn the inhuman and illegal acts of the previous US administration and to defend the right of freedom of expression - no matter how offensive they personally may find the views expressed (e.g. the OldSchoolMethodists and Fred Phelpses of this world) - for all.

I'd like to thank you for taking and responding to my comment in the spirit it was meant and to apologise if I caused any offence through my own misapprehension.

Homosexuals are attempting to be treated with the same amount of respect and common decency as everyone else. How is that screwing things up? Homosexuals have been around for as long as there have ben complex life on this Earth, and still there are "normal teenagers" around.
BTW, the concept of teenagers has only been around for less than a century. Before that you were first a child, which was considered a rather embarassing existence, and as soon as you could you turned over to adulthood. No inbetween stage, as soon as you were strong enough you started working.

I bet the homosexuals wouldn't care one iota if the term 'homosexual' disapeared, and we were all just humans. There is no "self avowed" here at all, YOU are saying they're different, not them.

You are saying an awful lot for someone refusing to argue with someone.
