Even if ol' Bratt Krapenough were to get confirmed, we can get him impeached after the Blue Wave (Very important to vote, folks. Make the Blue Wave happen!).

Confirming Kavanope is the worst thing the Republicans could do at this point
They're stuck between a rock and a hard place. McConnell told Trump not to pick this asshole, because he KNEW Kavanaugh would be very difficult to get through to the SC due to his long history as a partisan wingnut of the highest order. He told Trump to pick someone who had a shorter, less odious record. But Trump wants Kavanaugh, and he only wants him because Kavanaugh is a big believer in the idea of President-as-dictator - but only when the President is a Republican.
Now the Republicans have been forced into having the FBI investigate Kavanaugh's past, which is likely going to lead to more info coming out about his drunk, buffoonish, woman-raping past... And they're going to have to decide whether to continue to ram him through (likely leading to them getting HAMMERED in the next election and Kavanaugh being arrested and/or impeached), or piss off Donald and the moron base by refusing. About the only thing they could do at this point to avoid looking like partisan hacks is convince him to resign before the investigation happens, and if yesterday's hearing is any indication, Kavanaugh has no intention of doing that. His behavior is that of the standard abuser; Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim-Offender.
Fortunately for us, Rapeypants came off rather poorly during his televised job interview.
I read earlier that the right wing offal in the beltway is insistent on cramming the drunken rapist through due to a specific case that is being presented or argued next month. It has to do with double jeopardy. Something along the lines of if someone accepts a presidential pardon, the state where said crime was committed can't nail them for the same crime. That would allow Fat Nixon, his vile spawn & the rest of the republican criminals to get away with everything, & we all know that is what they want more than anything. I can't recall where I saw it & Google proved unhelpful. I can't say for sure it's true, but it struck me as relevant. Now that an FBI investigation has been greenlit, I can only speculate as to what skeletons Rapeypants has in his closet. But I still think that no matter what the feds uncover, they will confirm him. We're talking about republicans here; the lowest forms of life on earth. They will install him, he'll decide to give the right wing trash free reign, the US will become an even bigger joke than it already is, & it will be just another day in Mordor. I just hope the "Blue Wave" becomes a tsunami so we can sweep at least some of the republican garbage out of office, because so far, every prediction I made back in November of 2016 has come true. Fat Nixon has proven himself to be an incompetent, hateful idiot who owes everything to his abusive Russian boyfriend with the floppy man titties, & congress has proven itself to be completely neutered & incapable of doing anything to prevent Fat Nixon from fucking everything up beyond repair, even if it damages them because they are so blinded by their own greed & party ideology that they can't see the forest for the trees. Republicans truly are the dumbest motherfuckers to have ever lived.
He lies about even the simplest of things. FBI will talk to his friend, who might claim he doesn't remember that incident, but certainly remembers (and writes about) plenty of other times when he was with "Bart O'Kavanaugh", blind drunk and drugging the girls. But K has already claimed a choirboy reputation, which absolutely nobody believes. I was waiting for his wife to burst out in laughter.
