Having children out of wed-lock isn't good for the child. It robs them of the parents God intended for them to have. Also, if you're not married or just living together your child doesn't have a father. Maybe, a biological father, but not a true father, one they could look up to.
Living together is as much of a sin as just having sex. So, any "christian" out there that thinks other wise needs to think again that they are doing the right thing and you are still going to hell.

You're against two people getting to know each other before spending their lives together, huh? Yay Divorce, huh??

Parenting has nothing to do with marrying or not. Tell it to the Slacks, who killed their daughter even tough they were married.

Um, so if God is perfect, and he intends for a child to have a specific set of parents, why doesn't he just prevent pregnancy if the wrong pair of folk have sex before marriage?

can someone please tell me why on earth so many people are attracted to this sort of ultra-conservative life-style crap? how can you possibly feel happy if you constantly have to repress so much in your life? A male and a female living together in the same building is a sin against god, their creator [??]. i'm getting really creeped out by people who impose this shit on themselves in the name of religion.

I was born out of wedlock, and it hasn't done me any harm.

I have the same parents I had BEFORE they were married.

You can't look up to your father because he isn't married to your mother? What the fuck?

You are stretching the definition of parenting and father too much. And if you have sex out of wedlock and provided that the father doesn´t abandon the child(which happens less and less often), which "parents" are they robbing him or her?. Mother, at least, they have. And what if they´re giving them up for adoption?. Second, regarding the "true father", what the hell what you mean?, a paper doesn´t change your character or the problems associated to marriage.

My only son was born of "wed-lock". He is healthy and happy. I still live with his mother but this doesn´t matter, because I will be his father until the day I die. I dress him for school and help with the homework. I have a job, help the comunity and I don´t drink or use drugs. Not a too bad example at all.
