Donald Trump barely squeaked by in his, uh, win. Half the people don't want what he's peddling, and I'd guess a sizeable minority of those who voted for him are already experiencing buyer's regret - as well they should.
People want extreme vetting? He can release his tax statements, then, or could staple his mouth shut, as he should have done with all that "birther" nonsense he spewed when Obama was President.
Our country is now getting a bunch of refugees from the United States. In other words, your country has turned into a shit-hole so fast that people are walking through Canadian winters with toddlers and babies in tow just to escape what they know is coming.

You gave him access to weapons of mass destruction as well as to the massive US treasury (which he'll plunder the shit out of in an attempt to isolate the US from the big, scary world out there while at the same time trying to dominate it).
As I said, now a bunch of people are hopping our border to escape the cradle of modern democracy because short-sighted morons decided to throw their freedom away in exchange for an entirely false sense of security as promised by a known liar, philanderer, and failure who has been running on luck and others' money his entire useless, destructive life.
As another poster pointed out already, the Republicans (and the Democrats as well) created propaganda organelles in the belief they'd always be able to control them for a desired outcome. It never occurred to them, as they chipped away at reality-based news reporting, that this was a possible (and maybe even a probably) consequence.
The world will never forgive the United States for this - for playing world police as the so-called "good guys" only to turn around and elect someone who all but openly admits to being a fascist and who showed during his campaign that he'd run the country as his own private fiefdom.
