why does gay marriage offend u and ur religion? its against mine and i dont take kindly to 2 homos stealing the sacred bond between a man and a women and pretty much raping the term of a marriage and getting married in a church which should completly oppose the idea of gay marriage much less allow the act.

My quarrel with this position is that discrimination against homosexuals is simply wrong. However, I actually agree that if one believes the Bible to have authority, as most Christian churches do, there's little to justify gay marriage.
You don't like gay marriage? Fine, then don't get one. But I, along with the rest of rational society, don't see how two homosexuals getting married in any way disrupts the "sanctity" of any heterosexual marriage I may someday have.
Zack The Cowboy: You look like one of them fellers what's attracted to other men. We don't take kindly to you, foo-foo types, with yer springy steppin' and yer frilly shirts. You best hop back on yer purty little pony and sidesaddle yer sweet ass on out of here. Go on now, you hot little sissy, before I give y'all the longhorn.
I'm sorry, but if you use shortcuts like "u" and "ur", I won't respect you, much less take you seriously.
You don´t have two things in consideration. One, there is a city council where the major will gladly marry them, they are not forcing churches to do so. Second, two homosexual people, who might or not belong to your religion get marry, in which sense are they preventing you to get marry to whom you want to?
"U" is a letter of the alphabet, it is not a person, It cannot be offended,
"Ur" is a dead city in Iraq.
fucking dolt
Hensley: Dammit, he lives 20 minutes from me. Hopefully I never have to run into him.
Hey, if you do, reverse and make sure that you finish the job before driving away.
Zack of Shit, you're fifteen fucking years old. Shut up and grow up. For most of human history the 'Eternal Way of Marriage' was polygamy. One man with many wives, just in case you've never heard the term. By the way marriage is a civil and not a religious institution.

Earth calling Zack! There are not a finite number of marriages available! Gay people getting married doesn't "take out of play" for the straight people!
Phew! It's a good thing that American churches have Zack to tell them what they should oppose, because it's obvious they can't decide these issues for themselves.
How does one "steal" a sacred bond of any kind? In other words, how does the marriage of two homosexuals affect the marriage of heterosexuals in any way whatsoever? Is it just that you won't feel special and superior anymore?
You cannot "rape" a term of language any more than you can "rape" the bibble. Learn to use words correctly.
Folks, while this post well deserves a good mocking, let's not go beyond what it deserves. It's obvious that when this poster refers to "raping the term of marriage," this is a metaphorical use of the word "rape."
(Yes, fundies CAN use metaphors, even if they don't necessarily know what a metaphor is. Just because they're hyperbolic or offensive doesn't mean they're technically inappropriate uses of the words.)
The rest of the post is eminently ripe for ridicule, however, so have at it.

"and getting married in a church which should completly oppose the idea of gay marriage much less allow the act"
No problem with that. The church, as a private institution (should I say company?), can oppose gay marriages. Inside their doors. Let the rest of the world do whatever they want.
How would fundies feel if the government told them what to do at their masses?
You know what really rapes the term marriage?
Having a law that says that if an unmarried woman is raped outside of the city, then the rapist can just give her Dad some money and now she's his wife. Guess what, it's in the Bible.
Confused?
