So this is obviously the next step in the homosexual and liberal lunatic agenda to force Christians to submit to accepting as "normal" their evil perversion and completely remove God from the public arena by prohibiting Christians from holding any kind of public office, including POTUS, Congress, and the Senate. I wonder how long it'll be until the homosexual/liberal lunatics decide to use ISIS' tactics and rather than it being "submit or go to jail" it's going to be "submit or die?" Because it looks like this is where they're headed next. The differences between the two are becoming blurrier every day until I'm no longer sure which is which. Actually, now that I think about it, most likely before the "submit or die" they're first going to go after the churches to close down the real ones preaching the true gospel, i.e. that things like homosexuality, adultery, murder (abortion), etc. are sin. Then it'll be "submit or die."

You folks should know - you have used this tactic for millennia.
Closing churches? No. Make those who violate their tax exempt status (you know - preaching politics) pay their fair share of tax? then yes, I support that wholeheartedly.
<I wonder how long it'll be until the homosexual/liberal lunatics decide to use ISIS' tactics and>...kill the homosexuals?
<they're first going to go after the churches to close down the real ones preaching the true gospel, i.e. that things like homosexuality, adultery, murder (abortion), etc. are sin.>
You fundies still haven't proved that any of your multiple 'holy books' are true*. Do that, then we'll talk.
*No. The book being true because it's written in the book that the book is true does not count. Stop using that argument. Stop it. Right now.
The use of 'I wonder how long until' is so often used by these kinds of people in order to imply that what they are suggesting will someday happen.
Yet they're still wondering how long until the rapture happens.
Let's just say I suspect they'll happen on the very same day, Mrs TimeWarp.
"they're first going to go after the churches to close down the real ones preaching the true gospel,"
But they'll leave the not-true christian churches open?
"Because it looks like this is where they're headed next."
Stop projecting.
"The differences between the two are becoming blurrier every day until I'm no longer sure which is which."
We have opticiens for that.
Actually I can't tell the difference between you guys and the Taliban/IS
Both want law to be based on their book of xhoice, hate gays, and hate people who are different in general.
"homosexual and liberal lunatic agenda"
"I wonder how long it'll be until the homosexual/liberal lunatics decide to use ISIS' tactics"
...well, considering how pushing homosexuals off high roofs is a popular sport in ISIS controlled areas of Syria, Iraq etc, then frankly your J-boy blowing his horn, going down and sucking you off will happen sooner.
I mean, ever hear of the phrase 'Turkeys voting for Christmas' or what?! And unless you're prepared to do a Jonestown/Heaven's Gate and kill yourselves to accelerate that lovely (C)Rapture you have a constant hardon for - and would do so willingly & eagerly - then you've gotten your logic completely ass-backwards.
I hereby nominate this quote for the 'Did Not Do The Research' Award.
Uh .... is there any political office in the country that is not held by or staffed by predominantly straight Christians? No. No, there is not, to my knowledge. Does that translate into Christian hysteria about their imminent incarceration? It would seem to do so, if we listen to you and others of your mindset. Is there any reason other than batshit crazy for you all to think that? Nope.
@Kanna
Probably, most of them.
Despite appearances, most U.S. political positions are held by people with some intelligence, a particularly cynical intelligence but nontheless...
If they can lie to the electorate about everything else, it can't be beyond their wit to fake a basic belief in the delusion de jour ,
I'll say it again- STFU & get back into your time warp, you sniveling cretin.
I am so damned tired of these people & their ceaseless whining.
> If they can lie to the electorate about everything else, it can't be beyond their wit to fake a basic belief in the delusion de jour,
The statistics show Christianity is over-represented in the US government. Since I don't think Christians are repelled by government, and they have no reason to claim to be non-Christian, it's probably closer to a random sample than it appears.
That would still make the majority of the government Christian, simply because the country is.
Fear mongering to feed a martyr complex that is prevalent amongst many Christians, unfortunately. Despite the supposed anti-Christian bias, Christians are perfectly able to hold federal position, and it would be detrimental for a presidential candidate to declare their lack of faith. Being a Christian isn't synonymous with being a homophobic authoritarian with the mistaken belief that the USA is a theocracy. The pendulum still swings on your side.
"I wonder how long it'll be until the homosexual/liberal lunatics decide to use ISIS' tactics and rather than it being "submit or go to jail" it's going to be "submit or die?""
Never, because Kim was arrested for not doing her job, coupled with the inability for her to be sacked, not because of a desire to silence Christians as part of a hate campaign. It's not always about you.
Actually, now that I think about it, most likely before the "submit or die" they're first going to go after the churches to close down the real ones preaching the true gospel, i.e. that things like homosexuality, adultery, murder (abortion), etc. are sin. Then it'll be "submit or die."
That's your schtick, TW. St. Patrick 'driving the snakes out of Ireland' ring a bell?
Hint: Which religion send representatives to an area, takes over, tries to convert everyone while destroying their culture and has a long history of 'convert or die'?
It's coming to me...give me a minute.
I'd be more worried about the conservative lunatics doing that first, especially with abortion. First they keep bombing Planned Parenthood clinics, then they ban abortion, then getting a back-alley abortion becomes a capital crime and suddenly the female death row population swells.
That won't happen, but that sounds infinitely more likely than this nonsense.
Confused?
