Woman steps out in expensive clothing, that shows off her wealth, and gets thieves to drool over her and then gets mugged. Did she contribute to the theft? Maybe if she hadn't been doing her best to try and get thieves to look at her and greedily desire her stuff, then maybe she wouldn't have contributed a thief being pushed over the edge?
(Bad grammar preserved from original.)
Hey! You did not say that the woman in the first part was walking down a red-light-district road (or similar) at night. She just stepped outside; your two stories don't fit each other.
Maybe boys/men ought to be taught enough self-control not to let their little willies do the thinking for them?
I'm with Kanna; when thieves get a pat on the back and just a few weeks in jail for being a promising swimming athlete, and the victim gets scolded and ridiculed in court for wearing expensive clothes in public, then we'll accept your analogy.
Unless you're wearing a burka, you are showing off your body when stepping outside, regardless of clothing.
Besides, most people are raped by someone they know, a husband, father, brother, colleague, class-mate, boyfriend or friend. Little old ladies in retirement homes are raped, women in burkas or hoodies and sweatpants are raped, small babies and toddlers are raped, boys and men are raped.
