The moment you start victim blaming, is the moment you make it much easier for rapists to actually get away with it. You can recognize that it's dumb to act in a manner that would entice people, but in the end a no means no. I also clearly said 'act', because I don't believe that dress is a valid way of enticing people. Just because a girl is wearing a tiny dress doesn't mean she is trying to entice men.
Praytell why ELSE she'd be wearing skimpy clothing?
I can't think of a single practical use for wearing skimpy clothing other than trying to look sexually pleasing to men. Unless she's Bi or lesbian or something and trying to look nice to other girls, but still. Is there really a need to be walking around in public dressed like that?

Funny how men don't catch any shit for wearing fancy clothes, shorts and t-shirts, speedos, or going shirtless on hot days like they should expect nothing less than to get jumped at any minute when someone lays eyes upon them because according to you humans are mindless rutting animals and going out in public is an invitation.
When I wear a shirt it's because I like that shirt not because I'm trying to "signal" or some bullshit. I would think it's the same for women. Actually, no, I take it back because women are subjected by society to an entirely different standard. It's not just expected of them to dress to impress others it is actively questioned and somehow taken as an offense against everyone around them when women don't go out of their way to look good. More attention is paid to how a woman looks than what she does. It's fucking stupid. A perfect demonstration of how goddamned retarded this double standard is can be found in how the length of Ivanka Trump's skirt was seriously scrutinized by political analysts during her trip to China with her father for it's potential to offend the Chinese with such twistedly sincere gravity like it could start a war while the only people who make any kind of noise about the physical appearance of her father - who spends a great deal of time sine-waving between wet sloppy ass-kissing and deliberately inflaming the masses - are comedians. Even the potential for political fallout took entirely different tones and meaning between the two. Ivanka was treated like a risk to national security while nothing Trump said or did was given much more than a shrug and a "let's see what he'll do" like his antics were harmless.
Fuck this idiocy. Fuck how this simple expression of idiocy actually affects our daily lives from souring individual interactions which snowballs all the way up to skewing the priorities of world fucking politics in absolutely retarded directions.

But still what? You presented a counterargument that you can't account for, then just ignore it?
I can think of many practical uses for wearing a "skimpy" dress:
It's hot outside.
She's hot, regardless of temperature.
She's going swimming later in the day, so she doesn't want lots of clothing to bother her then.
She likes the dress, regardless of what other people think about it.
Most women know that most men don't notice details about clothing, so most women dress for themselves or for other women.
Lastly; she had no other clean clothes, and she has a washing time scheduled for tomorrow.
Is there really a need for men to be walking around in public dressed in just shorts? Funnily enough, many men are much more skimpily dressed than many women, but they are very seldom raped.
The bottom line is still "A No Means NO". As long as you haven't got an enthusiastic "Yes, yes, OH MY GOOOOOOOD, YES", you ought to abstain for the time being.

Who is looking more modest in this pic?:

A clue for a Zimbabwean Dollar, OP: It's not the Avro Vulcan.
...so a guy walking around in shorts & no shirt is just trying to entice gay men, then?
No, I don't see how that's different.
Confused?
