Right, is anyone currently working on getting this piece of shit CancerResearchUK advert removed from everywhere? Is there something I can sign? How the fucking fuck is this okay?

...Mmmmm, these Tuna & Cucumber sandwiches I got reduced to 25p each at Marks & Spencer's food hall - after visiting a friend - look yummy.
Sorry, what was that you were saying Sofat Haagen-Dazs...?!
Well, Cancer Research must have got in touch with the Advertising Standards Authority beforehand: with the relevant peer researched proof to back up what they say in their adverts where such a charity obviously have your best interests at heart . And if obesity can cause heart attacks, therefore...!
...because you clearly don't .
How the fucking fuck is this okay?
Let me guess: you smoke, drink heavily, are about 120lb overweight, don't exercise, sit around all day, and whine a lot. Right?
Hmm, I did a nice 105km ride on my racing bike today. Only an NP of 173W, but 2000kj of effort. I could eat a huge pizza right now without putting on an ounce, but I'm eating healthily anyway. What about you?
ETA: Haha, after typing that, I saw Moose had also logged in his bike ride.
@ KingOfRhye
but why are the E, I and T left blank?
It gets your attention, makes you look and pause a moment to figure it out.
Except fundies would take a while figuring out F_T
or
R_L_GI_N makes you ST_P_D

Now there's a bizarre statement. Not sure what that has to do with this or reality.
I'm hard pressed to think of a single person I've ever heard of that denies there are health complications associated with obesity and if that's what this is then it's a first. Frankly "fat shaming" has absolutely nothing to do with expressing concerns for someone's health, health in general, or even what is medically considered an unhealthy weight and in fact people who are a healthy weight face harassment because there's a demented perception that being dangerously underweight is supposed to be the norm and it can cause people to self-harm.
But even putting that aside, shaming people for their appearance is pure unjustifiable bullshit that holds back not only the targets of this pointless bullying but society as a whole because energy is being diverted from pursuits that actually matter and shallow visual impressions given more consideration than anything actually relevant to what a person says, does, personally accomplishes, or brings as an asset in a greater scope such as skills and intellect leaving good people and their ideas sidelined or dismissed out of hand. I'd call it self-serving except there's nothing to actually gain from it. It serves no one, it simply punishes the different which only encourages stagnation. Maybe judging others gives some a rush, maybe some people like to reinforce their comfort zone with visual shorthand they can force on others, I don't know I'm not a monster.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
