Well, there are two very simple explanations. One: she's bisexual. Bisexuals DO have the option of switching between same-sex and opposite-sex relationships and really meaning it, because they are attracted to both genders. They DO have a choice, in a way. Two: she's been a lesbian the whole time, was in massive denial (and if your parents were/are anything like you, I'm not surprised that she was in the closet for so long), and tried to cover up her feelings for girls by running with guys in attempts to prove that she was heterosexual. Either way, your sister's behavior proves nothing about homosexuals' "choice" in being gay.
