Suffice to say, this runaway maternalism — a virulent, gynocentric form of pathological altruism — is indistinguishable from female narcissism. Women get a thrill up their egos when they can cast themselves as saviors of putatively downtrodden foreigners oppressed by the Bad Beta Males who forgot how to hold the whip hand.
