Dear International Olympic Committee,
It has recently come to light that gold medalist Bruce Jenner is in fact transgender, and therefore, identifies as a woman. We congratulate Ms. Jenner on these new developments and wish her the best. However, this creates somewhat of a problem as Ms. Jenner (as talented as she is) claims that she has always believed herself to be truly female, and therefore, was in violation of committee rules regarding women competing in men's sports and vice versa. Therefore, it is with a heavy heart that we must ask whether or not it is proper that Ms. Jenner should retain her olympic records in light of this, as we must now either claim that Bruce Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner are two entirely different people (which we know is not true), or that Bruce Jenner was, in fact, a woman participating in a men's event. It is only fair to all involved that women receive their credit as champions of the Decathalon and that the men racing Ms. Jenner are not expected to compete with a superior, streamlined being such as herself.

Note: After posting this, it came to my attention that Jennifer Bradford probably doesn't exist.
Behold the origin of this petition, the hive of scum and villainy that is... 4chan.

IOC as basically responded "...so..."

In its response to the petition, IOC Communications Director Mark Adams tells Yahoo, "Bruce Jenner won his gold medal in the 1976 Olympic Games and there is no issue for the IOC."
I think that in sports, it's the genetics that counts; not the gender of the person. Several contestant have been thrown out after tests that show that they are genetically male even though they thought they were female (or the other way around).
If you call them "new developments", what does it matter what s/he did in the past?
I'd say her Olympic records are even more impressive when done by a woman.
@Ivurm
Dun dun duhhhhhhhhh~
Dear Miss Bradford,
We wish to inform you that there is, alas, no Olympic medal for snide comments and bigotry thinly veiled as concern. We are sure you would be a strong contender for the position, but that event is not going to be part of our schedule, even though the competition is so stiff.
Regards,
The Olympic Committee

"Heavy heart"; riiiiiiiight... And if she were a woman at the time competing in a men's event, wouldn't that make her achievement all the more impressive?
Well this is just silly.
They'd have a case if she were to compete against men now, but this is really just reaching for your point.
@Ivurm
And as we know, there are no girls on 4chan, because they are far to fragile to endure the climate there. The "all women are saints and can do no wrong" thing is starting to grate.

" 'hive of scum and villainy' -- Best description of 4chan ever."
No longer, I'm afraid. Several months ago, the former admin of 4chan went into full-on SJW mode (blame his girlfriend for that), and got some other SJWs to be 4chan's moderators. Naturally, the old guard (and many others) couldn't abide that, so they pulled up stakes and moved to 8chan, which is a different site under different much less SJW-oriented management. If there's a "wretched hive of the Internet", it's now there.
That having been said, is anyone still surprised that a 4chan user is the source of this?
@Ireyon
So there were no Jews in Germany under the Nazis? Because we all kno that all Jews are too fragile and saintly and can't stand the climate, right? What's this? The Nazis hate the Jews? Of course not! #NotAllNazis, #NotYourShield, #WhyAreYouEvenLookingIntoThisInTheFirstPlace.
Seriously, this line of argument is the most insipid thing.
@Ivurm
/b/ is fucking shite and always has been so that doesn't surprise me. I thought it was just mostly get threads and avatarshitters nowadays. It's surprising to see something like that that ISN'T from /pol/
@Da Rat Bastid
>SJW
You don't sound like you're old enough to browse either site.
@Morningstar
That's because 4chan link aren't permanent.
(There are archives outthere, but posting /pol/ stuff would be like shooting fish in a barrel).
Those on 4chan's /sp/ had to rely on the BBC's feed, as opposed to the shitty so-called 'coverage' of NBC, re. the 2012 London Olympics.
And with the upcoming 2016 Rio De Janeiro Olympics, no doubt you'll be having to do the same; certainly the IOC's feed.
Hypocrisy. The scum and villains in that wretched hive need it to exist. And I'm an Anonymous who has experienced the worst that /b/ can possibly excrete.
“Ms. Jenner (as talented as she is) claims that she has always believed herself to be truly female, and therefore, was in violation of committee rules regarding women competing in men's sports ‘
I don’t believe she did. The rules about men in men’s sports concern testosterone and penises. They never mention ‘belief’ that you are a man. That’s my understanding, anway. If you can find a rule from 1976 insisting that all contestants BELIEVE themselves to be men, I would be interested in seein g it.
Until then, go felate an immersion blender and turn it on.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
