“There is no evidence for absolute morality.” John Williams
Actually, there are two immutable evidences. God wrote His Law (The Ten Commandments) in stone for a reason. It’s not going away. It will judge humanity on Judgment Day (see Romans 2:12, James 2:12). And it is written on your heart via your God-given, society-shaped conscience. You are therefore without excuse.

So where can one see these stones? Oh right, Indie recovered them from the Nazis and now they are sitting forgotten in a warehouse somewhere.
"Absolute morality" like how your book says "Thou shalt not kill" on one page, and then on the next says "Do not spare him, but kill men and women, children and infants, oxen and sheep, camels and asses"? (1 Samuel 15:2-3 NAB)
Wow, that's pretty "absolute". Absolute bullshit.
Prove your heart has anything "written" on it. Show us any human heart with anything "written" on it. Without eyes and a source of illumination inside your chest, how can you read what is written on your heart? Does god write it in a person's native language? Once you prove a heart can have something written on it, prove only your god writes it. Prove that both you and Charles Manson have the same thing "written" on both of your hearts.
What if you receive a heart transplant from someone of another faith? Is it necessary to erase what was written there and re-write it? What does the doctor use to do this? A Pink Pearl and a #2 pencil? After the surgery, how would you verify that what the doctor wrote is the same as what your god writes?
Ray, how's that "Sell all you have, give to the poor, and follow me" thing going for you? Sold everything you have yet? Why not? You don't really follow that book you're quoting, do you, Ray? Until you do, and can provide evidence you do, why don't you shut the fuck up?
"Actually, there are two immutable evidences."
No, there aren't. Just because you want something to be true doesn't mean it becomes "evidence".
"God wrote His Law in stone..."
I assume you can prove this assertion? Because otherwise, it's no better than saying "The Great Lord Athe had his laws molded into cheese."
"And it is written on your heart via your God-given, society-shaped conscience."
Wait. If it's god-given, why is it shaped by society? If it's shaped by society, how is that any different from saying it comes from society in the first place? If god is all-powerful, why does this conscience get edited by anyone else?
God's talking to YOU GUYS, Ray. If you don't follow the first commandment, there's no reason to follow the rest of them. I don't follow the first commandment, so they don't apply to me, unless civil law says otherwise.
God sure left out a lot of morally questionable acts on its list of laws formed by moral absolutes (e.g. no rape). It also didn't choose to share them amongst civilisations outside of the Middle-East. It can't have been that bothered whether they kept to the standards it demanded utmost respect to, regardless of the situation.
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbours' property, wives, or lives.
Now go forth into the neighbouring kingdoms and sack them of everything valuable, put every last man to the sword, spare not even children unless you intend to rape them and keep them as slaves.
... What do you mean I just told you not to do any of that?!
Can somebody confirm this quote + which John Williams its being tied with?
If it is the composer, evidently I have not been putting nearly enough saffron and gold on my shrine to him. Seriously, dude's the ultimate movie composer.
"God wrote His Law (The Ten Commandments) in stone"
If god could write in stone and can write on our hearts, why did he need man to write a book? Why couldn't god also write a book? You'd think there would be fewer contradictions if some all-perfect god wrote the book...
"And it is written on your heart via your God-given, society-shaped conscience"
Eh, not true. If it was I'd have a problem with, for example, a fair portion of women being better than me, I don't have exact numbers, and holding positions of power over me. If you're about to argue society has warped my 'god-given' morality, I have to ask how this is possible considering how powerful and mighty god is. If his commandments are immutable then why is the conscience he gave me so easily swayed?
Fine Ray, begin the real campaign to close the church, to ban the preaching and to destroy he pointless scriptures.
After all, it's written on my heart and with all my heart I believe you are one of the most dishonest scummiest assholes I've ever seen.
Shut down that church, nothing to hear here you don't already know! Don't tell me about your God, I know it all, stop wasting everybodies time!
Hammurabi beat God to it. And if the "10 commandments" are the basis of morality, we're ruined.
Where is the commandment against rape? Or the commandment against owning other people?
Why do they not note that those commandments were meant for the ancient Israeli people? Why do they think it's meant for us also?
Hold on...I'll let someone more educational do my rant for me:
Now, a video that deals with the 10 commandments.
Hell with it, another one . This second one may be the better one to watch first, actually.
Never seen these stone tablets of yours, Ray. Only seen the paper you claim to have copied them down onto. And if these laws are written into my heart then why do I find so many of them to be immoral? If these laws were truly inherent to my thinking then I wouldn't find the majority of them reprehensible, nor would I not even know most of them existed prior to reading about them in your myth book.
via your God-given, society-shaped conscience.
Which is it, Ray?
written on your heart
If I ever had a heart transplant I'd ask to have a tattoo put onto it first.
How cool would that be? A tat of The FSM, right on the Old Pumper.
Confused?
