Civil officials have a God ordained duty to execute sodomites.
The word of God commands, "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them" (Lev.20:13).
Have we not been taught that homosexuality is an abomination (Lev.18:22). And those who engage in homosexuality are so vile that their very presence defiles the land and its inhabitants (Lev.18:25-28).
This sodomite defilement brings eternal damnation upon all who approve of homosexuality (Rom.1:32, 13:2) and brings God's righteous judgment of punishment and death on the society as a whole (Gen.19:24-25, II Pet.2:6).
The Magistrate, in his proper role, "beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to [execute] wrath upon him that doeth evil" (Rom.13:4).
Since Magistrates have such a sure Biblical mandate to protect the innocent people in society by using the sword to execute sodomites (he that doeth evil), why then, are Christians encouraging civil officials to ignore the commandments of God concerning homosexuality?

This is pretty much the same as your other article quoted here. You're a real one-trick pony, ain't you Jim?
And once again, I ask you, so what? We don't make our laws based on the Bible, so who cares what the Bible says we should do?
If you are going to claim that we need to follow the laws of the old testament, better kill all the people who sell shellfish, and the mixed-fabric clothing wearers, and anything having to do with pork. See, we've decided that some of those laws shouldn't be used anymore, because they have no point. Shellfish as an abomination is one of them. Sodomy as an abomination is another. You can't pick and choose your abominations, it's all or nothing.
Well, for the same reason they eat shelf-fish, eat pork, wear sweaters which are lycra and cotton 50/50, ect.........and because you have to identify which "innocents" they´re protecting, since the fact that two people enter into a relationship has never been damaging to a third party. If we add that half the judges are not Christian, and there is no law asking them to, and that we don´t see a sword but in museums, what is it left on your argument?, the fact that you´re a troll?
Don't forget this one from Leviticus!
Lev 15.19And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even.
20And every thing that she lieth upon in her separation shall be unclean: every thing also that she sitteth upon shall be unclean.
21And whosoever toucheth her bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
22And whosoever toucheth any thing that she sat upon shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
23And if it be on her bed, or on any thing whereon she sitteth, when he toucheth it, he shall be unclean until the even.
24And if any man lie with her at all, and her flowers be upon him, he shall be unclean seven days; and all the bed whereon he lieth shall be unclean.
Yeh, I'd like to see him go around asking women if they are on thier period so he can avoid touching them...
"Since Magistrates have such a sure Biblical mandate to protect the innocent people in society by using the sword to execute sodomites (he that doeth evil), why then, are Christians encouraging civil officials to ignore the commandments of God concerning homosexuality?"
Because they are not as completely deluded nor nearly as fucktarded as you, Jim.
Yeah, and why are civil officials ignoring the command of a righteous God to kill smart-mouthed children, non-virginal brides, and people who work on the Sabbath, that's what I'd like to know.
If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them" (Lev.20:13).
Where does it say civil officials should execute people for homosexual sex? In other cases, such as rape or adultery, the people are specifically commanded to stone the offenders; but in this case, the Bible just says "they shall surely be put to death": executioner and method unspecified. It sounds to me like God intends to do it himself. Fine. If God's got a problem with it, let him deal with it himself. Even if you believe the bullshit in the Bible, its none of Jim's business.
Again, all OT quotes. The OT has some of the most violent and imoral passages ever written. Go look what Jesus said in the NT, through that old Hebrew Bible away, and do what your God-man said to do.
Let´s make a proposition. Let´s go to a war museum to take swords. If Jimmy doesn´t wake up from his delusion, let´s look at the passage in the Bible in which, actually, the method of execution is lynching, not using the magistrate. If his brain doesn´t find it absurd enough, we can quote other passages such as stoning people for working on Saturday, killing non-virgin brides, eating lobster..............if all this doesn´t work, man, this guy is not a fundie, is a flat encephalogram.
Well, I looked it up, and Lev 20:13 really does say that.
Jesus also said we shouldn't judge other humans, that vengeance isn't ours to take, and that he who lives by the sword dies by the sword. Do what you gotta do, but make sure the gays you're coming after aren't my friends. I'm a better shot than you are.
The Bible also demands the death penalty for those who do any work on the Sabbath (the original Sabbath being Saturday).
If we're going to put "sodomites" to death for their sins, oughtn't we put to death anybody who, for any reason, works or causes someone else to work on a Sabbath OR does not observe a Saturday Sabbath?
A quick rundown of some things that Leviticus strictly prohobits:
1. The consumption of hares and pigs (Lv 11: 6-8)
2. The consumption of lobsters and shellfish (Lv. 11: 9-11)
3. Having two animals of a different species mate (Lv. 19: 19)
4. The consumption of blood sausage (Lv. 19: 26)
5. Lying about the measure of length, weight, or capacity (Lv. 19: 35-36)
6. Children disobeying their elders. It goes on to say that this crime is punishable by death. (Lv. 20: 9)
And yet you still pay attention to one line, one pithy little statement sandiwhced in between all the talk about prohibiting incest and eating lobsters.
Because gays and liberal christians actually are human beings, not psychotic monsters.
Now do society a favor, take the barrel of a gun and shove it far up your ass, that's good, nice and tight, now pull the trigger.
Confused?
