What he means is "if someone finds something that looks to 99.9% of the rational people in the world like an error, us fundies can always invent some unscriptural, bizarre and off-the-wall explanation for it."

But again, you're unable to explain why there are records in China or Egypt at the time where the flood happened, according to the Bible, or how is it possible that guys can live 900 years or snakes speak.
2 Kings 8:26 says "Two and twenty years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign..." 2 Chronicles 22:2 says "Forty and two years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign..."
1 Kings 7:23 "He made a molten sea, ten cubits from the one brim to the other: it was round all about, and his height was five cubits: and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about." Circumference = Pi() x Diameter, which means the line would have to have been over 31 cubits. In order for this to be rounding, it would have had to overstate the amount to ensure that the line did "compass it round about."
Fuck, I hate it when people mis-interpret the Bible, and that turns out to be 99% of fundies.
1) The Bible is a collection of books written by different people over many centuries, NOT one continuous work. You can't back up material from one book of the Bible with material from another and expect it to be relevant.
2) Stemming from 1), the Bible is based in a massively different context from modern society. Despite the message, we can only interpret it from a modern perspective and we will almost never get the proper message from it. Basically, Bible = irrelevant.
