Spiritual/mystical experience as I have known it is far greater evidence than anything physical. It affects your entire being and changes the way you view life, the world, and God. In other words, it's much more powerful than physical evidence.

Oh, sure, there's just one teensy problem with it - there's no evidence you can present to anyone else. And hallucination is an equally plausible (in fact, more plausible since it requires nothing we don't already know to exist) explanation.

So does massive head trauma...

So does a lobotomy, which is pretty physical.
When it comes to Science fail, this is a prime example of why it's dead common.
It means nothing to these people that thousands of educated, experienced and long term dedicated people come to this conclusion.
No.
Some fuckin' internet priesthood document or even lack thereof trumps massive scientific consensus every time.
Go away and let the grown-ups do all the important stuff

I personally find the OP music of the anime series "Magic Knight Rayearth":

'Yuzurenai Negai' rather affecting. Does this therefore mean that Hikaru, Umi, Fuu, Clef, Presea, Alcyone et al - and the world of Cephiro - are real ?! (if only ! The pink-haired, dusky-skinned Caldina? Rawr! :9 )
The only answer to your 'evidence' is what Mokona would (and can only) say: 'Puu! '
And Mokona - inspired by artist 'Mokona' (formerly 'Mokona Apapa') - is God.
And if you want 'affecting', I can never watch the film "The Right Stuff":

...or listen to this end theme music on my MP3 player without at least having a lump in my throat.
Those early Mercury astronauts' experiences - as summed up in "The Right Stuff" - ultimately leading to the Apollo missions, and the physical evidence they brought back, in other words, it's much more powerful than a nonexistent 'God'.
...but Gen. Chuck Yeager, USAF (Ret.) is God.
Confused?
