You know what? Appeals to conscience, reason, and verifiable history/evidence are useless with these people so I'll take another approach. In a culture of Hollywood action movies how have you not seen a man go on a rampage triggered by the death of their family?

For those who are materialists, the term "soul" could be substituted for "personality" and it represents the highest good within ourselves. It can be maimed - for a materialist, it will be maimed until s/he dies; for a theist, it will be maimed forever. It cannot be repaired after suffering that much damage.

Really? The terrorist the Yemen raid was trying to kill didn't seem very concerned about the death of family, including a kid. And the Al Quaeda and ISIS fucks include a lot of people who have abandoned their families. In fact, their official policy is to welcome family being "martyred," as it boosts their propaganda.
Because murdering innocent people is just about the most effective method ever of getting their relatives to stop hating you and trying to kill you.
